Ecological Directory Staking: Use Pi to Support Pi Applications and Functions within the Ecosystem Ecological Directory Staking is a new platform-level feature that provides pioneers and enterprises with a decentralized way to actively support and enhance the ranking of Pi applications and functionalities within the ecosystem interface by staking their held Pi. This feature can be accessed through the Pi browser and will be gradually rolled out starting June 28, 2025.

• How it Works: Pioneers and businesses can stake Pi on the Pi mainnet blockchain for their chosen applications, directly boosting the ranking of those applications within the ecosystem.
• Purpose: In addition to providing practical value for Pi staking, this feature aims to provide more exposure for higher-quality applications that promote meaningful community engagement.
• Important Update (June 29, 2025): Staking is an optional way for pioneers and enterprises to support the ecosystem interface applications they use and love. Please note that no Pi staking rewards are provided at the protocol level, as it is unreasonable for the network to promote one specific Pi application over another through this staking feature. Whether to provide incentives (such as application functionality and quality, user experience, in-app rewards, promotions, etc.) to encourage pioneers to stake Pi for their applications or services and enhance their rankings is up to the discretion of third-party developers. After the staking period ends, the original staking amount will be returned to the users.

Strategic Significance: This mechanism is a platform-level function that utilizes the collective attention resources of Pi. It not only supports applications and functions through the collective power of the Pi community but also differs from typical Web2 application ranking systems (which are mainly controlled by rigid algorithms or advertising companies that create information silos). Third-party Onramper Integration and Deposit Services The Pi Wallet has now integrated Onramper - a third-party deposit aggregation service provider verified through KYB (Know Your Business), simplifying the process for pioneers to purchase cryptocurrency with fiat currency. Node Update: Node Version 0.5.2 and Node Ranking Page Node version 0.5.2 has been released, containing several key updates:

• View Node Public Key: Pioneers can directly view their public key in the node section, which is used to identify their node on the node ranking page. This public key can be used to verify and identify the user's node.
• Resizable Window: The desktop application window can be resized to improve the usability of certain features (such as the Pi Application Studio).

A new Node Ranking Page has been added to the Pi Block Explorer, displaying the top 5000 Pi nodes based on key performance indicators (including reliability, availability, open ports, total active days, and CPU performance). The rankings are refreshed every 24 hours to reflect the latest network data. This page helps highlight the most stable and high-performing nodes contributing to the Pi ecosystem.

Mainnet Migration and KYC Update: Unlock Migration for Over 500,000 Pioneers Recent updates on the mainnet migration and KYC have made more pioneers eligible for migration. These updates have unlocked pathways for over 500,000 pioneers who were previously unable to continue their migration, not including the over 3 million pioneers who have successfully migrated since the launch of the open network.

• One of the KYC updates specifically helps address the unique challenges faced by pioneers in certain regions, who need further verification due to their "provisional KYC" status in order to reach final KYC status, allowing them to continue the mainnet migration process.
• The migration process is also improved by setting up a dedicated blockchain API server (separated from other blockchain traffic), which helps enhance migration stability and throughput.
• Pioneers may still need to complete specific actions in order to migrate. The exact timing depends on how long it takes individuals to complete these steps, but they are no longer constrained by the system limitations that previously hindered their migration.

.pi domain name auction extension As mentioned in the previous blog, the .pi domain is intended to be a functional Web3 identifier - an anchor for Pi-driven applications, services, and stores. Given the release of the Pi application studio, more pioneers will be able to create and run their own applications, thus needing to acquire domain names for their applications. Therefore, the .pi domain auction deadline has been extended to September 30, 2025 to allow pioneers more time to innovate, build functional applications, and bid for the .pi domain names required for their applications.

Pi2Day Interactive Ecological Challenge To celebrate the various ecological and functional support updates for Pi2Day, pioneers can participate in the Pi2Day Ecological Challenge. The challenge will guide pioneers to explore various new features (including many features announced in this notice) and help them gain a deeper understanding of the Pi ecosystem and Pi products.
