A member of the Curve community proposed to stop all subsequent L2 network integration work.
PANews, August 4th - Curve community member phil00Llama recently proposed to "stop all subsequent Layer 2 development." The proposal suggests that the deployed L2 can be retained but recommends terminating further development. He believes that L2 chains require maintenance efforts on par with the Ethereum Mainnet, but the returns are meager (currently, the total daily earnings of all L2s amount to about $1,500); L2 technology iterates very quickly and has a short-lived nature, leading to significant operational pressure; development teams could focus their efforts on more valuable areas. Currently, there is only one comment from a community member regarding this proposal: "This proposal is so radical that it should be elaborated more thoroughly."
