AI Industry Weekly Report: OpenAI's annual revenue exceeds $1.3 billion, multiple AI companies complete funding.

OpenAI's annual revenue reached $1.3 billion, a significant increase from last year's $28 million. CEO Sam Altman stated that the company's monthly revenue exceeds $100 million, a 30% increase compared to this summer.

Multiple AI companies have completed financing: Lambda Labs has raised nearly $300 million; Cleanlab secured $25 million; FluidAI Medical completed a $15 million Series A; Moonhub AI raised $10 million in seed funding; Anysphere received an $8 million investment from OpenAI, among others.

Moonshot AI has launched the intelligent assistant Kimi Chat, which supports input of 200,000 Chinese characters. Zhizhu AI and Tsinghua KEG have released and open-sourced the multimodal large model CogVLM-17B. The Zhiyuan Research Institute has fully upgraded the Wudao・Tianying Aquila large language model series.

Adobe has released multiple generative AI innovations, including three new Firefly models. NetEase Youdao has launched a virtual spoken language tutor Hi Echo based on the Ziyue education large model. Vivo will release its self-developed AI large model matrix on November 1.

Google's AI search feature has been upgraded to allow users to create images directly based on text prompts. Applications like Microsoft PowerPoint will integrate Copilot in November, enabling the generation of presentations in seconds. AMD has announced the acquisition of open-source AI software expert Nod.ai.

Analytical agency CCS Insight predicts that the generative AI field may face a reality check next year, and related industries could "cool down." An IDC report shows that in the first half of 2023, domestic AI chip brands in China shipped over 50,000 units.
