How to choose the trading cycle for short-term trading?

The choice of the cycle is actually about what level of K-line chart you use for operation.

The common division is as follows:
1-hour K-line: suitable for holding positions for one or two days, which is what we refer to as "short-term".

15-minute K-line: Generally for the same day or overnight, suitable for short-term trading.

5-minute K-line: This is typical day trading, with quick entries and exits.

You can choose a long or a short cycle; the key is which rhythm suits you.

If you work during the day, an hour might be more suitable.

If you monitor the market all day, you can consider 15-minute or 5-minute intervals.
