SEC Chair: Don't let regulation become a stumbling block for innovation.



The Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Paul Atkins, announced the launch of a program called "Project Crypto," aimed at advancing on-chain compliance innovation in the U.S. capital markets. He pointed out that existing rules mostly apply to traditional manufacturing enterprises and are difficult to cover product forms centered around crypto assets. The SEC will evaluate and may abolish relevant regulations that are not applicable to the crypto field.
