CertiK becomes a key enterprise partner in Hong Kong, supporting the development of innovative technology.
Recently, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Office for Key Enterprises held an important signing ceremony. At this ceremony, CertiK, a leading company in the Web3 security field, officially became a partner of key enterprises in Hong Kong. The company's Chief Technology Officer signed a cooperation agreement along with representatives from 17 other high-tech enterprises.
The signing ceremony attracted more than 200 representatives from various sectors, including key enterprises, chambers of commerce, research institutions, universities, financial and professional service companies, as well as government departments. A total of 18 enterprises joined the ranks of key enterprises, covering multiple fields such as advanced manufacturing, new energy technology, artificial intelligence and data science, financial technology, and life and health technology. As the only company focused on Web3 security, CertiK, with its rich experience and technical strength in blockchain security, has become one of the important forces in promoting the construction of Hong Kong's international innovation and technology center.
The Chief Technology Officer of CertiK stated after the ceremony that Hong Kong has world-class financial and technology talent and maintains close ties with the international community. In recent years, the Hong Kong SAR government has actively promoted the development of Web 3.0 by introducing multiple virtual asset policy frameworks and implementing an authorization system for virtual asset service providers. At the same time, some institutions are also providing funding and resource support for startups, accelerating the growth of the Web 3.0 ecosystem. CertiK's goal is to set industry standards for compliance auditing of virtual assets and contribute to the development of related industries, thereby enhancing Hong Kong's global competitiveness.
The office for key enterprises has stated that it will work closely with other government departments to provide comprehensive services for key enterprises, including CertiK, to accelerate their business establishment in Hong Kong and promote the continuous growth of the innovation technology industry. CertiK plans to leverage Hong Kong's geographical advantages and policy support to deepen cooperation with local research institutions and enterprises, contributing to the diversified development of Hong Kong's economy.
CertiK was established in 2017 and is headquartered in New York, USA. It is a technology company focused on Web3 security. The company is committed to supporting the long-term development strategy of Web3 enterprises and ecosystems through full-cycle products and services. In recent years, CertiK has rapidly risen globally, providing services to over 4,900 enterprise clients and protecting digital assets worth more than $530 billion.
CertiK has a long-standing partnership with Hong Kong. The company's co-founders and the Chief Technology Officer are members of the Hong Kong Web3 Development Task Force, deeply involved in the construction of the Hong Kong Web3 ecosystem. CertiK has also collaborated with Hong Kong Cyberport to launch Web3 security training courses and proposed stablecoin regulatory recommendations, which have been adopted by the Hong Kong authorities. Becoming a key enterprise partner in Hong Kong will further consolidate CertiK's strategic position in the Asia-Pacific region and support Hong Kong's innovative development in the fintech and blockchain sectors.
