The world's largest hedge fund: Bitcoin investment must meet three conditions

Abstract generation in progress

The global largest hedging fund company's investment research director recently accepted an interview, explaining the three key conditions required for the company's investment in Bitcoin.

The primary condition is the reduction of Bitcoin's volatility. Currently, the volatility of Bitcoin is about ten times that of the US dollar, and it is even twice as volatile as the currency of Venezuela. The director emphasized that for Bitcoin to become a diversified investment tool, its stability must first be improved.

Secondly, Bitcoin needs to have stronger liquidity. The last point, and the most critical one, is the clarity of regulation. She pointed out that as the regulatory framework surrounding Bitcoin and other digital currencies continues to improve, it will attract more types of investors to participate, thereby bringing higher liquidity and subsequently reducing volatility. The clarity of regulation is the aspect she is most concerned about, but she stated that she cannot predict when the United States will establish a clear regulatory framework.

The director also expressed her views on the nature of Bitcoin. She believes that Bitcoin does not fit the definition of currency, but over time, it may evolve into a form of digital gold.

It is worth mentioning that the founder of the company praised Bitcoin last month as "an extraordinary invention" and stated that it "deserves our close attention". This hedge fund company, established in 1975, currently manages assets exceeding $150 billion.
