Soccer J1 "Avispa DAO" partners with Web3-style loyalty program NewLo | CoinDesk JAPAN

The J1 soccer club "Avispa Fukuoka" announced on July 7 that its Web3 community "Avispa DAO" has signed an official community partner agreement with NewLo, a company that offers Web3-based loyalty programs.

This partnership aims to promote new member participation in the Abysspa DAO and to revitalize the entire community.

In this partnership, the Web3 campaign platform "NewLo Quest" developed and operated by NewLo Inc. will be utilized. Abysspa DAO will conduct collaboration campaigns through this platform, receiving support for project cooperation and reward provision from NewLo Inc. Rewards will include cryptocurrency (virtual currency), NFTs, and various gifts.

The Abispa DAO is a community that promotes the club's vision in the Web3 space, with approximately 8,700 members participating as of July.

The DAO is deepening its involvement in club management, and as part of this, announced the launch of the "DAO Academy Co-Education Program" in June in partnership with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. This program has a mechanism whereby the support content for academy players is determined by votes from DAO members.

The partner company NewLo develops infrastructure for decentralized incentive marketing utilizing Web3 tokens. They provide campaign platform "NewLo Quest" and the native cryptocurrency on their service, "NewLo Token (NWLT)".

In addition, NewLo has been adopted by the incubation program "Soneium Spark" operated by Sony Block Solutions Labs.

Under this agreement, the first collaboration campaign between both parties has already begun.
