"Big and Beautiful" passed by the Senate! Electric vehicle subsidies called off early, Musk: Destroys the green energy industry.
US President Trump (Donald Trump)'s "Big and Beautiful" tax cut bill passed a preliminary procedural vote on the evening of June 29, officially entering the debate and amendment stage. Among the provisions regarding the reduction of electric vehicle subsidies and the provision of tax credits for electric vehicle purchases, it was strongly criticized by Tesla founder Musk (Elon Musk), who now further blasts: "This bill destroys the development of the green energy industry."
The "Big and Beautiful" has passed the Senate vote, with major adjustments to green energy subsidies.
Green energy and electric vehicle subsidies are considered a waste of national resources by Trump and some conservative Republican figures, who argue that these industries should survive through market competition rather than relying on government subsidies.
On the evening of June 29, the U.S. Senate passed a procedural vote on the "Big and Beautiful" tax reduction bill, which included adjustments to the provisions regarding subsidies for green energy and electric vehicles. The specific content is as follows:
Wind and solar subsidies end early: Originally, it was stipulated that applications for subsidies could be made before starting construction, but now it has been changed to requiring actual completion and use before the end of 2027 to qualify for subsidies.
Early termination of electric vehicle purchase subsidy: The $7,500 purchase subsidy originally set to end at the end of the year will terminate early on 9/30.
The tax credits for used electric vehicles and commercial vehicles also ended on 9/30.

According to the poll, this tax cut bill is the main reason for the Republican Party's self-destruction.
He further stated that the bill not only redirects government resources back to traditional industries but will also destroy millions of jobs in America and severely harm the development of the green energy and electric vehicle industries.

Some netizens also shared the official statement from the American Construction Union, stating:
"This will destroy 1.75 million job opportunities for construction workers!"
Musk also retweeted the post to express support.
Trump said Musk is a nice guy, just a bit emotional.
Before this incident, Trump stated during an interview last Friday:
"I haven't been in touch with Musk very often lately, but he's a great person, and I know he will do well in the future. However, he has been a bit emotional recently, which is not very good."
The timing of the interview happened to fall just before Musk's post, which made the back-and-forth between the two sides particularly noteworthy. As of the time of writing, TSL )TSLA( had an after-hours stock price of approximately $323.63, a slight decline of 0.66%.
