People say it takes three years to enter the industry, five years to understand it, and ten years to become a leader.
Looking back at my previous circle of friends, this September marks my tenth year in this industry.
Looking back on these more than nine years of experience, it feels a bit ironic, full of gains and losses, ups and downs. I have the ability to multiply my principal many times over, but the only thing I lack is the ability to keep the principal and profits safe.
Leverage can be reduced from 100x to 50x, then to 20x, and finally to 5x, and even to the minimum of 3x, which can still allow for several short-term trades in quick succession. In the end, it all collapses in extreme market conditions, where altcoins can plummet by nearly 90%, and Ethereum can retrace by over 70%, constantly reshaping our understanding.
The previous methods are no longer effective, so I chose to take a few months to settle down. One reason is to accumulate slightly larger funds through labor, and enter a cooling-off period. There is no need to trade without a clear mindset or a trading system suitable for the current market conditions. Each recharge is just consuming the principal, so it would be better to come back when I am more mature.
I hope everyone can empathize. The market is always there, and if there are continuous losses, there's no need to rush into the market every month if your mindset can't adjust. Take a step back, recover gradually, and choose to come back only when there's not too much pressure.
My plan will not change. A part-time job will take more time, saving 5000-8000 a month for now. Plus, I'm going back to the institution to relearn and rebuild a trading system. Everything cannot be rushed.
A few days ago, there was a very powerful trader who gave me a quantitative system to see, let me find loopholes, I feel very stable, listen to his analysis of the strategy can not find faults, but need practice to know, the key is that I don't want to enter the market now, I don't want to recharge, I want to go as planned, selling point gt, see how much I can sell, and then put the contract according to its strategy to run two or three months to see the income, because the main does not need to keep an eye on the market, his strategy liquidation is very low, mainly by the designated position to run back and forth, so that it will not delay my work, and study, If he can really run the results, he may settle down in a few months, see if there is anything that can be optimized in his strategy, and then come back.
First, sell some GT, practice his strategy for a month or two before discussing further. Then work to earn money and accumulate capital, study, further your education, reflect, and improve the patience that has always been lacking, while reducing impatience.
I was in my twenties when I entered the crypto space, and in the blink of an eye, I'm 30 now. It's time to settle down.
