Government forces launch multi-pronged operation in an attempt to encircle anti-government armed groups

On December 3, Jinshi Data reported that on December 2, local time, the Syrian government forces attacked anti-government armed groups in many areas in northwest Syria, recapturing several towns and villages controlled by the anti-government armed groups. The Syrian government forces continue to resist the southward advance of the anti-government armed groups in Hama, and the two sides are currently engaged in fierce battles in Hama. However, the anti-government armed groups stated that they have taken control of seven areas in Hama. The Syrian government forces stated that in the past 24 hours, they have carried out airstrikes on Aleppo and Idlib, destroying five command centers and seven weapons depots of the anti-government armed groups. Over 400 anti-government armed members have been killed in the past few hours.
